Can you pick my car up from any location?

  • Yes, We provide a personal driver that can meet you at any desired or convenient location,   given that Park My Car is operational in your area.

How long can my car be parked at your facility?

  • Park My car does not restrain you, as a customer, to any given time. You can park your car as long as you want.

Why would I use your parking service?

  • Our parking facility is occupied by people looking for ease of managing your cars parking needs. This service is a more convenient as well as a cost effective way for storing your vehicle for people leaving the city for travel or business trips. It also allows you to receive your vehicle at the exact time you land at the airport or in need of it on return. This is managed by our professional drivers on duty.

Why would I use your driver assist service?

  • This service is used for people that need their vehicle somewhere they cant be. For example : your vehicle needs to be taken in for a service , we provide a driver that can take your vehicle to the point of interest and back, at any time and date required.  This service is primarily used for people that don’t want to waste time on taking their vehicle somewhere or don’t have the time to do so. 

How can I extend my parking stay ?

  • This can be done by just rebooking the extended time for the same vehicle. It would follow the same booking process as before with an additional note that the vehicle is already in our facility, explaining your circumstances. Or alternatively getting hold of support@parkmycar.co.za/live chat on the app.

Who will be driving my car on pick up?

  • A selected driver will be assigned the task that has an open time slot. Our drivers are hand picked and qualified expert drivers. There only objective and job is to make sure that the car is driven appropriately with the most care taken possible.

How do I pay for the service?

  • The application use paystack payment solutions which allows for easy card transactions and eft facilities. This company is renowned for secure online payments. We do not offer a cash payment option so make sure your details are close by when making a booking.

Is The Parking Facility secure and monitored?

  • Yes, the facility includes:
    • Installed cameras monitoring the property
    • Provides 24 hour security guard that watches the vehicles
    • Protected entrances and exits of the property
    • Fenced perimeter of the property

Will my vehicle be looked after in the hands of Park My Car?

  • The convenience of our service stems off from not only having confidence in the protection off your vehicle but also the peace of mind that the upkeep will be tended to. This will include doing maintence checkups of the vehicle such as tyre pressure, battery voltage and the cleanliness of the vehicle on your return.

Can I use the parking facility for something besides a motor vehicle? 

  • Yes, we will be able to store other possessions such as trailers, motor bikes, campervans , etc. However we will not be able to collect these specific request at a location it will have to be dropped off at our premises. 

How does the driver assist service work?

  • If your car needs to be somewhere you cant, you can make a booking through the driver assist tab (on the homepage of the application). This will allow you to book a personal driver that will be able to take your vehicle to any desired location at any time. Lets run through a scenario to make the process of booking a driver assist more clear: You have booked your vehicle for a service and do not have the time to waste as you have to be at work early in the mornings. You realise that this doesn’t have to be an issue anymore, Park My Car offers a driver assist service. All you need to do is select a location and time for the vehicle to be picked up, whether it be at your work or at your home. The same can be done for the returning of your vehicle. Once you require your vehicle again it can be brought back to you effortlessly.

Can I book a driver assist for a return trip?

  • Yes you can, you can even specify what time you need the vehicle brought back to you even if its at a different location from where we picked the vehicle up from. 
  • This will require you to make a new booking for this instance.

How long before I need my vehicle picked up can I make a booking? 

  • Please make sure that a booking is done well before you require your vehicle to be picked up. It incurs quite a bit of administrative processing to get drivers ready for the booking. There also might not be any available during the time of your booking. 

When can I place a booking? 

  • Bookings must be placed during business hours of the working week. These are Mon.-Sat. from 8am-8pm. We will still be able to handle bookings over weekends they must have been processed during the week. 

What is the cancellation policy?

  • If a booking for some reason gets cancelled, the amount paid for the service will be held in the account as points and you will be able to use these points for your next booking with Park My car Services.
